Set-Up Instructions | Powered by Hope

Your online fund-raising page is your biggest asset as you work to meet your goal. Keep in mind that the average online donation is significantly higher than the average donation made by check. So, whenever possible, direct your supports to your fund-raising page to make donations. Setting up your page very simple, and it will take you less than 15 minutes to complete.

1.) Click here for “Team TobyMac” or here for Powered by Hope” You will be directed to the First Giving website, our online donation partner.

2.) Click “Raise Money”

3.) Follow the instructions to set up your page.

4.) Personalize your page: Make sure to upload a picture of yourself (it doesn’t have to be an athletic picture.) and personalize the message a bit, telling your supporters why you decided to run or walk with Powered by Hope and or Team TobyMac. Don’t forget to personalize your automatic thank you response at the bottom of the page as well.

5.) Make sure to add the New Hope Academy video to your page. Simply cut and paste the following link into the box provided through First Giving. (Click, “Edit” when you log into your account and there will be an option to add a You Tube video).

6.) When you complete the set-up, you will be given a URL for your page. Use this in all communication with your supports. Congratulations,  you are now ready to accept donations online!
